Brandon was totally oblivious that I had even taken his picture.
I'm in San Francisco this week for an IT Project Management seminar. For the first couple of days I was fortunate enough to spend a few days site seeing and having fun. This is Lombard Street, the crookedest street in San Francisco. I drove down it and several other crazy steep streets here. Pretty fun. You can't really get the scope of this street from my shot.
We have emerged from a seemingly long, cold and wet winter. I pulled my camera out today for the first time in what seems like months. It felt good to hold it and hear the sound of the shutter. I hope they never get rid of that sound from cameras, there's something about it that seems to be an intricate part of photography. Anyways, when you add to this yucky cold winter the fact that I've been working hard at getting my MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification it adds up to no time for shooting. I hope to change this here after I finish my last test which is scheduled in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to you all who continue to visit despite my lack of posting!
So, I got to visit New York city this past week. Wow, it's a very different place from where I live. I'll expound more later, but for now, I'll just say Wow! Out of the noise and apparent chaos we found ourselves in Central Park. It's a huge and amazingly quiet and peaceful place in the middle of New York, Manhattan to be specific. The anxiety and craziness of the city seemed to fade away behind us, and I was glad! :)
Play-Doh is hours of creative fun for my kids. It's fun for me just to sit there and watch their little minds spin as they decide what to make and what shapes to form. Good stuff...
