This plant was growing in my back yard by our water fountain last year. I can't wait for Spring...I think I've said that a thousand times for the past month...
...well I couldn't resist. I found this old abandoned barn and sheds...with no one around and my curiosity peaked I ventured in.

More of the old cars I found on a recent road trip. Check out yesturday's post for more info.
I went on a road trip for work and came across this old abandoned gas station. It looked like it hadn't been used in several years and was pretty neat. We goto gas stations fairly often, funny how after sitting unused and empty it gains in interest.
I have this fascination with broken down vehicles...not sure why.
I love church buildings...
An old downtown building and a great blue sky... I haven't been impressed with any of my shots over the past couple of days, so I'm reaching back into older shots for a couple of days. :)
I think most people who like to take pictures end up with one or two
railroad pictures in their collection. For me the railroad carries a
fascination because it leads off into the distance to who knows where.
I thought this Mother and Daughter looked neat sitting by this pond.
Ok, one more day of the Firestation pictures. I just couldn't resist putting up one more set....
Here's some more from the Firestation we visited recently. Read the day before yesturday's post for more details.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. Psalm 46:4
My daughter just kills me. She's such an easy subject to photograph because she is so animated.
We had a temporary break in the bleak, blah grey skies a couple of weeks ago. I think everyone in the city realized the respite we had and rushed out to enjoy it like me.
I wasn't sure I liked this shot at first, but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. I think partly it makes me think about my kids so that may help too.
My kids love doing crafts and cutting paper and glueing pieces together.
I was driving home one evening and saw this mass of birds along this phone/power line so I pulled over and took a couple of shots of the birds and of the sunset that was taking place.
This sign was at the end of a road that dead ended next to a railroad track. It was out in the middle of nowhere and this red sign just stuck out from the browns and greens all around.
Joh 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
