Ok, I need your opinions again. Color or Black and white I did a bunch of cleaning up on this one because it had a bunch of powerlines and junk that I found disctracting. Here’s the original if you are curious. The truck isn’t in focus as much as I had hoped for, but that’s what happens when you hold the camera out the top of a moving car through a sun roof. :)
With the colour version, I find my attention is directed towards the motion of the car, the action. With the b&w, my attention is directed to the car itself and not on the fact that it’s moving. The b&w version makes me think of the Sin City movie. I like how you captured the winding section of the road.
I say color. I like this shot very much. The motion thing going on here is way cool.
Color definetly. I love colors on the leaves and the color on the car is just great. I think that you did and excellent work on the cleaning. You have to be very patient to do that kind of work. Well done Jason.
I actually prefer the black and white version. It seems to suit the old vehicle better. Good job on removing the powerlines and such! It really focuses the attention on the truck. Moving shots are difficult, and you’ve done a good job here!
I prefer the colour version. The nostalgia of the vehicle in motion fits with the colours of the ‘counrty’ side.
B/W [to me anyway] takes the counrty feel out of this photo.

I am going to go with color. I can’t believe how you took those powerlines out that is great! I agree with parl that the country side color add to the truck. Plus since I live in San antonio it is a treat to the eye to see colors like that. We have two colors here green and brown. I do fear for your safety though :) How about not doing any stunt-photo shooting anymore.
I prefer the colour shot, as there arent that many colours anyway so my attention is drawn to the car in both instance, but i think in the colour picture you get more of a feeling of the angle and speed the car is travelling at.
You did some great PS cloning wotk there – there was a lot of it too! I prefer the version you posted – the selective desat often works, but it makes the car look a muddy dull colour here to me.
Definately the colour. I love the way the double yellow lines on the road lead me around the bend in motion with the truck. In colour i am also more aware of my surroundings and the time of year with the beautiful blend of autumn colours. Love it.
The pre processing shot I agree is distracting, end result wow! Love the motion feeling, its almost as if the truck is going to zing off the road! How long did the processing take?

This is really nice – the beautiful old truck with the excellent fall colors. Really nice.
I don’t know, I think the B&W is pretty cool. It is almost a play on the truck, being a circa 1950s, is out of place today. There is another option, a b&w truck in a color picture but it probably wouldn’t show up very well.
