My first thought when I saw this shot was bubbles rising up while descending into a deep dark ocean cave. Actually it was taken in a cave and there was water, I just wasn't under the water but looking down into a waterfall that was lit up from below. :)
So, it's been awhile since I've posted but I'm ready to get back into the swing. Especially since I got a new camera back in December and have not been using it. Maybe I need to go for the picture a day routine so I get myself in the mode to shoot and process more often.
2 cups of any bottled BBQ sauce
1 cup ketchup
1 1/2 cups water
1 medium onion, sliced. (This can be left out without hindering the flavor)
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup cooking wine
4 pounds boneless ribs
Mix the sauce together right in your crock pot. Add the ribs (no need to brown first) ensuring the sauce covers them. Cook on low for at least 5-6 hours.

What appears to be smoke is actually steam from geysers. This was taken in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
I think this was somewhere in Utah, but it could have been part of Colorado and even possibly Idaho. Taken on a recent long road trip from Springfield, MO to Seattle WA.

Not entirely sure why but I'm pulled into this shot. It's technically all wrong but for some reason right at the same time. Kinda like you and me. It made me think of God and how he doesn't make mistakes. Psalm 145:3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.

A friend shared a link to an article on Lifehacker's website about doing macro shots with a camera phone using the lens out of an old DVD player. So, I had to give it a try and was surprised to find out that you can do some awesome macro shots using an iphone (assuming other camera phones as well). This is one of the shots that came out amazingly well, in my opinion.
