I took my kids to a park the other night and between them and their cousins they scared off every goose, duck or other type of bird around this pond. It was interesting to watch them as they floated along. Most of them tended to stay in little groups, but this one duck I noticed seemed to go to each group and each time the group would swim away. I guess we’ll never know what made this guy an outcast but it was kinda sad watching him swimming all alone.

The reflection of the ducks head is very nice… a good mirror effect.

I didn’t notice the ducks reflection at first because I was so caught by the way the water looks. It seems like it is not water but glass or marble….something solid.
He’s not alone – he has his reflection for company. The color of the water is quite nice.
It’s funny. In the reflection it looks like the ducks mouth is open. I like how it is almost a silouette, but not quite.
Surreal colours and yet this one is so peaceful and serene. I would feel happy for this guy… a little bit of peace and quiet! ;-)

I like how the duck is backlit, yet you can still make out some of the tonal variations. Good shot.
Different colors…and nearly silhoutted reflection of duck…looks very nice…
